How to divert small problems into easy solutions on your wedding day? Pack a Wedding Day Emergency Kit with items that will come in handy. Whether it's a pair of scissors or fake wedding bands - most times the hero on wedding day is this Emergency Kit.
Having planned over 25 weddings, one thing that we have learned from each one is how important a Wedding Day Emergency Kit is. From the morning getting ready shots to the end of the Reception this kit comes in handy in so many ways. I will be sharing a list of all items I keep for my brides on the Wedding Day - here are the top most frequently used items.
Scissors - a Wedding Planner's best friend on Wedding Day
Whether it's taking the tag off of any new items or helping the make up artist open a new pack of eye lashes - scissors truly are a wedding planners best friend on wedding day. The amount of times we use scissors on wedding weekend is countless - not to mention the amount of times guests ask us "do you have any scissors?" - when we pull those out from our fanny packs within seconds, the guest is usually in shock.
Lets talk Safety Pins & Bobby Pins
Since our niche is the South-Asian Wedding Industry, safety pins come in very handy. From draping a duppata to a sari, safety pins can easily be needed on wedding day to not just the bride and groom but also for family members and guests.
Bobby Pins are always helpful for a quick Hair Fall out or right before the bride walks down the aisle. On the wedding day, the bride usually gets ready hours before her walk down the aisle. The Hair & Make Up Artist usually does not stay till this moment, hence why a Bridal touch up is always necessary.
Band-Aids
We don't plan to get hurt on wedding day however anything is possible - hence why you should always be prepared. There are always over a hundred guests on event days someone is always bound to trip and fall or hurt themselves. This is why my staff and I always keep a few bandaids in our fanny packs.
Thank you for making it this far. Stay tuned for more blog posts ahead.
